MOT advisory notes showed I had a nail in one of my tyres. As I had previous fantastic service from this Co I called them and was offered an immediate appointment.
The staff are very friendly and the garage has a really positive buzz about it.
They managed to remove the nail without damage & bonus - NO CHARGE!! Guess where I'm going next time I need a new tyre??

Over the years, I had gone to a number of garages, which usually ranged from mediocre to terrible. When we moved to Beckenham, we started looking for a new & local garage.

We initially tried a garage located in our street, but after ending up with high bills which far exceeded estimates and without any sort of courtesy notice from the owner, we decided to give Village Car Care a go. They are further for us, but we decided to try based on their glowing Google reviews.

And I can say we are very happy we did! They are by far the best garage I've ever gone to. We've been customers for a few years and use them for MOT as well as yearly service, and they always do a great job. However, what really sets them apart beyond the quality of their work is their integrity. While a lot of garages are known for trying to get as much money from you as possible, and even sometimes inventing issues, Village Car Care is the exact opposite.

I've had 2 issues over the past 12 months which they fixed or diagnosed without charge. For the first one, the heat shield under the car had come lose, resulting in a rattling noise. They popped the car on the platform, identified the issue, fixed it with a few nuts & bolts and gave me the car back within 10 minutes with no charge. The second time, I went with a noisy clutch, which was promptly diagnosed as a non-issue and something that could be ignored. That time again, they did not charge me. Obviously you should never expect things to be done for free, but you can be confident that if they feel the problem is small enough / fast enough to fix and you're a regular client, they may not charge you. A refreshing change from some many garages which nickel & dime the client or try to fatten the final bill...
